KinderSoccer Policies

Enrollment

A child's enrollment continues season to season until Kinder Soccer is notified of cancellation via phone or email.

Schedule

Kinder Soccer operates on a consecutive 6 week season schedule.  The new season starts the week immediately following the conclusion of the last season.  Kinder Soccer follows your childcare center's schedule regarding school closings and holidays.

Sessions

Sessions are held at your childcare center during school hours.

Session Cancellations

All canceled sessions are made up.  If a session is canceled, the season is extended an additional week or a make up session is scheduled.  Sessions may be canceled for inclement weather, holidays, or coaches' emergencies.

Session Size

Kinder Soccer follows your childcare center's guidelines regarding teacher/student ratios.

Payments

Payments are due the first day of the season. Parents should pay tuition to school or childcare center.

Proper Attire

All children should wear weather appropriate attire and sneakers. Children may wear cleats and/or shin guards.  However, this equipment is not necessary.

Ages

Kinder Soccer is offered to children ages 3 to 6.

Withdrawal from Program

Enrollment will continue season to season until Kinder Soccer is notified of cancellation via phone or email. Parents may choose to cancel their child's enrollment at any point.

Safe Environment

Sessions are held in a safe location determined by the Kinder Soccer and childcare center directors.  Preferred sites are away from parking lots and roads and are fenced in. Instructors provide water breaks during all sessions.  During the summer months instructors also use a water mister.

Discipline

If a child misbehaves, instructors will utilize the following methods to correct a child:

1- verbal correction

2- instruct the child to think about his/her behavior

3- return the child to his/her classroom

4- notify the childcare center director and parents of the behavior

5- dismissal from the Kinder Soccer program

Medical Emergencies

Parents are required to provide health insurance information when they complete the registration form.  When an injury occurs, the instructor will notify the classroom teacher and childcare center director. The instructor will complete an incident report provided by Kinder Soccer.  A copy of the completed report will be given to the childcare center director.  If needed, Kinder Soccer will notify the parents of the incident.

Communication

Kinder Soccer encourages parents to communicate via phone or email about any questions or concerns.  Childcare center staff and parents may also access our website for important updates and scheduling information.
